  • A museum for Dutch Design, inspired by Dutch Design

This project, informed by Frederique's BA thesis on Dutch Graphic Design in the visual identities of Stedelijk Museum, Melkweg and Paradiso in Amsterdam, aims to create a comprehensive visual identity for an imaginary Amsterdam-based cultural institution: a museum for Dutch Design, inspired by Dutch Design. Its name: Dutch Design Museum. Straightforward, just like the Dutch. The visual identity of this museum integrates key Dutch Design elements such as simplicity, functionality, innovation, dynamic layouts and experimental typography. The Dutch Design Museum, DDM, exhibits all things Dutch Design: ranging from graphic design to fashion design. Aiming to teach the Dutch and visiting internationals about the rich design legacy of the Netherlands.

  • A light summer drink

BUBL. is an imaginary hard seltzer brand. The light summer drink represent happiness, playfulness and balance. The brand sells four different flavours that differ slightly from your usual finds in the supermarket, causing them to stand out more.

  • Skydive Hilversum Patch 01 Artboard 1_edited.png

As the group of so-called 'jumper dumpers' at Skydive Hilversum had grown, the pilots of the club were in need of new stickers and patches (pilots love this). The colours of the aircraft used to 'dump' the skydivers come back into the design, which was exclusively made for the pilots.

  • Pilot Bambi Sticker.png

Throughout her flying adventures, YouTuber Pilot Bambi has crossed quite a few airstrips off her list. It is common for pilots of smaller aircrafts to leave stickers behind where they have landed or departed and so Pilot Bambi needed one as well. The pink border adds a feminine touch to a male dominated field.

  • GoZC Lustrum.png

As the GoZC, short for Gooische Zweefvliegclub (Glider flying club), was approaching its lustrum of 85 years, they were in need of a sticker as pilots love stickers. The sticker makes use of the club colours and shows a contrast between an old glider from back in the days and a more modern one that the club uses nowadays.

Every year, a poster competition is held by German insurance company BG RCI. The aim of these posters is to create awareness among the insured about a specific health risk differing each year. 2022's theme: hearing loss. The company's target audience selected the 'a small effort prevents big consequences' poster out of 200+ entries for their top ten posters.
